Fee Assistance Program
In Collaboration with the Naperville Park District
NOA partners with the Naperville Park District in recognizing the importance of recreation and the health and wellness benefits it provides to people of all ages, both from a physical and mental standpoint. The Park District's Fee Assistance Program gives residents experiencing financial hardships the opportunity to enjoy recreation programs and realize the benefits of physical activity and socialization that many people take for granted.

Hobson Oak Project
A Legacy Tree in DuPage County
The Hobson Oak was located near Hobson and Greene Roads in DuPage County, Illinois. It is a legacy tree that has stood proud and strong since pre-settlement days. It has been carefully taken down, the last acorns have germinated, and the wood is being given to local artisans to support charitable donations to the Naperville Outdoor Alliance. Recent projects include beers made from the Hobson Oak (Noon Whistle Brewing, Riverlands Brewing) and hand-carved shillelaghs from Edgar Leon at Blackthorn & Bramble.

District 203 Bike Program
The Jeff Moores Bicycle Initiative
is designed to provide schools with training, equipment, and educational tools to get Naperville District 203 students riding bikes: a lifelong activity that benefits overall health. Many students have not learned the skill of bicycling or do not have access to bicycling equipment due to financial constraints. This initiative provides an opportunity to learn and practice bicycling skills, etiquette, and safety in Kindergarten through 12th grade PE classes.
