Mary Lou is a lifelong resident of Naperville. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois and Columbia College and has served on several community boards including the Naperville Heritage Society, KidsMatter and the Riverwalk Foundation. She has served 8 years as District 5 Commissioner of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County and has served a 6-year term with the Naperville Park District. Mary Lou is an active champion of public trails, open space, local history, community planning and historic preservation. She is inspired by the the citizens of Naperville who preceded her and those who are active now.
