Kevin lives in Aurora with his wife Debbie, whom he has been married to for 27 years. They have three daughters: Abbey, who attends law school at NIU; Mary Kate, a softball player at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh; and Elizabeth, a junior at Oswego East who participates in flag football and soccer. Their family also includes two dogs, Braxton and Charli.

Kevin is a Physical Education and Health teacher at Kennedy Junior High in Naperville 203, with 28 years of teaching experience, including time spent teaching driver’s education. A graduate of Eastern Illinois University (1998), he holds a K–12 PE and Sociology degree. Later Kevin got his Masters Degree in Physical Education (Chicago State University) and another Masters in Educational Technology from American College of Education. He enjoys all sports, especially watching his daughters compete in softball and soccer. He is an huge fan of the Bears, Cubs and Blackhawks!!
